About Me

I’m a recent Cal State Long Beach graduate with a major in Mechanical Engineering, so naturally my next step is to leave the county for two years and teach math to high school equivalent students in Malawi, Africa, right?  sure.  At least that’s the plan, and this is where the news will flow.  If you don’t wanna hear it, don’t read it.  Please comment and let me know that you love me, or like me, or can tolerate me.  Enjoy.

  2. HI there!

My husband Kris and I are also leaving for Malawi in September! We will both be teaching there, English and Science. He is actually in Rwanda this summer hopefully gathering some valuable information on what we really need and what we will live without.. Any ideas on the things you will not be bringing?

Look forward to meeting you in a few months!

  3. Hey! I’m a COSing PCV from Namibia and will be traveling through Malawi in late January with a couple friends. I saw your blog and was wondering if we could stop by your site and stay with you for a couple days. Your site sounds amazing!

  4. Hey Russell! How have you been, man? But, enough about you… I’m currently living at the Ramada Inn Burbank, CA working at a job I hate waiting to hear about a good job. I think I might be complaining to the wrong person? Im sure I should count my blessings after seeing where you are. I’ll try and get some of those things you asked for (Gimme some time) And yes… I love you! ~Roman~
